The Perfect "Lazy Luxury" Snack: Crispy Cottage Cheese Sticks by Maku Atelier

Better than Mozzarella Sticks? Try These Crispy Cottage Cheese Sticks.
Sometimes the best snacks are the ones that take less than 10 minutes to prep. We recently saw this incredible recipe from the talented @makuatelier, featuring our Argo Koroneiki, and we knew we had to share it.
These aren't your average cheese sticks. They are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and elevated by the spicy, grassy kick of Argo Olive Oil. Pair them with a creamy Chili-Sesame dip, and you’ve got the perfect snack for your next movie night or gathering.
Ingredients:

200g soft cottage cheese

1 egg
-
1/2 tsp salt
-
1 dl wheat flour
-
0.5 dl breadcrumbs

1 tsp paprika powder
-
1 tsp sesame seeds
-
Argo Koroneiki Extra Virgin Olive Oil (The key to that golden crunch!)

Crème fraîche (for the dip)

1 tsp Crispy Garlic in Chili-Sesame oil
Instructions:

The Base: Create your dough by mixing the cottage cheese, wheat flour, egg, and salt in a bowl.

The Coating: On a separate plate, mix the breadcrumbs, paprika powder, and sesame seeds (add a pinch of salt if you like).

The Shape: Form the dough into small sticks and roll them in the breadcrumb mixture until evenly coated.

The Argo Touch: Place the sticks on a baking sheet and drizzle generously with Argo Extra Virgin Olive Oil. This is what creates that "deep-fried" texture in the oven.

Bake: Pop them into a 200°C oven for about 15–20 minutes until they are golden and crispy.

The Dip: While they bake, stir the crispy garlic chili-sesame oil into the crème fraîche.
Serve immediately while they’re hot and crunchy!
